Congressional Visit
On Monday, March 21 Congressman Trent
Kelly visited with Marcia McCalmon's gifted students in grades 5 and 6
who are participating in the stock market game
The Stock Market Game is an educational program of the SIFMA Foundation.
It is an online simulation of the global capital markets that engages
students (grades 4-12) in the world of economics, investing, and personal
finance, and prepares them for financially independent futures. Our
5th-6th grade gifted classes are participating in the stock market game
for the first time this year to learn more about financial literacy.
In
Congress, Trent serves on the House Armed Services Committee, serving
as the Ranking Member of the Intelligence and Special Operations
subcommittee. Trent also serves on the House Permanent Select Committee
on Intelligence, the House Agriculture Committee, and the House Budget
Committee. This is his fourth term.
